And up on a hill
Against the sky
A fir tree rocking its lullaby.
Swings, swings
Its emerald wings
Sifting a song from its whisperings.

"Soft is the Song my Paddle Sings"
By: Pauline Johnson

I love this song. Whenever I see a pine tree on a hill, it reminds me of that verse. I love jack pines too. They have such character.

LOCATION
Georgian Bay shore, Chickanishing Trail, Killarney Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada

Postcards of the photo are up for sale in my Etsy shop: [link]
