Okay, so I decided to go back into this drawing. I photoshoped her face a bit. I think it's looking better. I also added some simple colouring too. I really, really love her kimono now! ^_^
Again, I used a photo from flickr as reference for the pose, but the kimono, kanzashi and everything like that are my own. EDIT: I added an entirely new background and changed the colouring a little. It's been softened a bit. Also she's got green eyes now! Prints of this piece are up for sale in my Etsy shop: [link] |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
