Artist's Comments
Some time ago, I did some illustrations for a Natural Heritage book that was being produced through Killarney and French River Provincial Parks. There were some difficulties in solidifying the direction of the book and since then it has evolved these illustrations out of its pages. Apparently they're going to hire me to do new ones at some point.
So, anyways, I've started using them as postcard designs. Here is my illustration for the black bear. It's a mother and cub lying in a raspberry patch. The point was to show one of the bear's food sources.
