Captorhinus by Qiu-Ling Captorhinus by Qiu-Ling
I'd like you all to meet captorhinus. He's a little amphibian that's more than 200 million years old. He was discovered in India and is a subspecies of the captorhinid . He's as yet un-named - though I think they're leaning towards Captorhinus Indiana. I had hoped that since I did the first drawings of it they'd name it Christina-saurus, but I can't have it my way... XD

Anyways, these are the drawings of him that I completed at my palaeontology job last summer. Now that I've gone back to work there, I've begun reconstructing this guy. As you can see he's a little broken, squished and lopsided. Basically, I have to use my spatial orientation skills and create some drawings that return him to his unspoilled glory.

Media: Illustrator for the line work, Charcoal for the shading
