George Lake VI

I'm currently working on a little project for the Friends of Killarney Provincial Park. They're going to be printing a paddle guide for day users, and it's all about George Lake. I've been asked to do the illustrations for this book. It willl be small about 5" X 7" and will contain about 10 illustrations. So all of these images are actually going to printed about 2 thirds the size they're appearing here.

A. Y. Jackson Lake is an elevated lake situated on top of the southern ridge of George Lake. When water levels are high, A. Y. Jackson runs off down the side of the ridge and feeds into George Lake. A. Y. Jackson lake was named after a member of the Group of Seven who was instrumental in the formation of Killarney Provincial Park.
