Soooo... what have I been working on all semester at school? Well a couple of series that is. And now that those series are coming to completion I can start posting them.
This is from a series of fantasy portraits done for my interpretive illustration class. Basically I used people in my class as models and turned them into fairies - fairies that embody the seasons. In regards to the forehead, though, I think she'd have too much forehead if I raised her hairline anymore. I think part of it has to do with the fact that it's a portrait. If I changed the hairline it wouldn't look quite like her anymore and because of that it wouldn't look quite right to me.
