Well... It's only November, but I already have a piece done for the Anime North 2010 design contest.
For this I drew the Anime North mascot; Momiji, in a beautiful dark red kimono with traditional nihongami styled hair. I hope the judges like the style I've gone with for this.

whoa, what applet or program did you use for this?? All those leaves, maple leaves to be exact, you did ALL those leaves? Crazy!! They look like puzzle pieces from far away. Nicely done. Love the structure of those leaves and the motion it creates.
