Spring Maiko

This is a cute spring maiko I drew this passed fall. I used this photo from flickr as reference for the pose and a little bit of the lighting [link] , but I designed her kimono, obi and kanzashi myself. I also, changed the maiko's face a bit too. I'm completely in love with her kimono now... I wish I could buy it and wear it. I bought a karinui in a similar colour which can hopefully keep me happy, though it doesn't have that cool gradated blue along the hem and sleeve bottoms.
